Let Us Quilt Your Masterpiece
"If we can draw your design, we can quilt it"

Looking for a perfect quilt? Do you have a number of projects started but just haven't had the time to finish them? Are you up against a deadline to get a unique quilt done in time for a special event?

Well!!  Quiltin' Time is proud to offer professional longarm quilting services on our Nolting Longarm Quilt machine to satisfy those needs. You can choose from a number of quilt designs including: small and large freestyle meandering. Mervyn's custom quilting is some of the best in the industry.

I took a year to put this heirloom quilt together. I had tried different quilting techniques and nothing was working. I took it to Mervyn and when the family looked at the finished product, there were tears of joy. It was beyond what was expected and the price was right. Thank you so much for quality and integrity in your workmanship and business.

In addition you can select from such quilt stitches as:

  • stippling

  • loops and hearts

  • feathers

  • flowers

  • loops and stars

Put a great finishing touch on your beautiful creation with our custom quilting. Pantograph are also available.

Pricing varies according to the type of the quilting style you choose. Call us at (678) 493-2112, complete the Feedback Form, or drop by and we'll be delighted to give you an estimate.

Steps

How to Prepare Your Quilt for Machine Quilting

Click Here for a Printable version of these Steps

1 Trim all loose threads
2 Secure all seams. Backstitch at the outer edge of your border seams.
3 Remove all pins.
4 Press the top and back of your quilt and fold each one separately.
5 Piece the backing of your quilt using 1/2" seams and press these seams open.
6 Square up all sides of the top and back of your quilt to form a straight edge for quilting.
7 Make the back 2" larger than the top on all four sides.
(width +4", length +4")

8 Batting must be as long and as wide as your backing.
"Warm and Natural" 100% cotton batting is available from our shop.

9 Is your backing pieced with either borders or blocks? Due to the pull of the fabric on the machine they may not be perfectly centered. But, we'll do our best.
10 Think about the color of your quilt thread when choosing your backing fabric.
